If you’re looking for a way to find out how long it may take a shipment to be delivered, DHL has a tool on MyDHL+ to help with this.
Go to mydhl.express.dhl. In the middle of the screen you should see an option to “Get a Rate and Time Quote.”
When you click on that, you’ll need to enter some information for the origin and destination. The more detail you can enter, the better.
You can adjust the details on the next screen if needed. This screen can also help you identify the correct format for a postal code or a city name, which can be helpful when making a waybill as well.
Indicate that you’re sending a package or documents and then fill in the other information. Again, the more detail you can provide, the more accurate the transit time estimate will be. Some countries, for example, have known timeframes for customs clearance when an import is over a certain value. So being accurate with the value will help the system account for that.
The next screen will show an estimated delivery date. Keep in mind that DHL doesn’t guarantee delivery dates, so it is just an estimate. Delays in customs are out of DHL’s control. The value you see is a book rate and will not reflect your actual discounted rate through Preferred Shipping. But any holidays or other things like that will be accounted for in this estimated delivery date.
If you click the Details button below the rate, you’ll also be able to see the cutoff time for scheduling same-day pickups in your postal code as well as the latest you can schedule a pickup time for.
