COVID-19 Update
In face of the challenges posed by COVID-19, DHL Express and Preferred Shipping are working together to maintain a reliable delivery service for your business. Certain destination's transit times are being impacted; you can find a complete list of temporary service adjustments here.
Emergency Situation Surcharge Update
As market conditions are continuously evolving with the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we are excited to report that the Emergency Situation Surcharge (ESS) will be reduced effective July 1, 2020.
The following origin/destination combinations will be adjusted:

China to Europe/Americas/Rest of World: from $2.00 p/kg ($0.90 p/lb) to $1.00 p/kg ($0.45 p/lb)

China/Hong Kong to Australia/New Zealand: from $2.00 p/kg ($0.90 p/lb) to $1.90 p/kg ($0.85 p/lb)
Below are the rates that will be in effect beginning July 1, 2020, the reduced charges are highlighted in green. These rates are USD/KG.
Please note that the ESS is a temporary charge, which allows DHL to cover part of the operating cost increases and the necessary air network adjustments. The ESS will be adjusted as market conditions evolve for the duration of this emergency situation.
